The MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center provides employers a variety of standard services at no cost. Our employer services are designed to meet your needs.

Place your job posting announcements at MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center. At no cost to you, your open positions will be included with a listing of available jobs, where thousands of job seekers have access to your job posting. Job seekers visit both Lawrence and Haverhill sites every day in their search for work. Take advantage of an opportunity to connect with a candidate who meets your needs. Avoid placing expensive newspaper advertising by posting your vacancies.

Our Industry Team Recruiters will match qualified candidates with your opening. As job seekers work with our recruiter, they will send you the resumes of candidates who have the skills, education and experience that you require.

The MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center in Lawrence offers professional state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance your recruitment efforts. Easy to reach via major highways and public transportation. We can help you conduct corporate events, meetings, presentations, interviews and workshops. We provide access to our state-of-the-art computers and printers.

LAWRENCE CENTER

Computer Lab: State-of-the-art computer lab with 12 networked computers, each with high speed internet access. A “Smart Board” is available to enhance your training or presentation.

Board Room: A large conference room that seats 16 comfortably. A presentation board, with a whiteboard, laptop & projector and flip charts, are also available.

Large Workshop Rooms: Seating capacity for 53 attendees, and laptop & projector.

Small Workshop Room: Seating capacity for 14 attendees, and laptop & projector. Ideal for a small classroom feel or meeting room.

Interview Room: Small, private room with capacity for 4-6 attendees. Excellent for interviews or individual meetings.

The MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center has current labor market information and can provide you with data on prevailing industry wages, employment data by community and other state and national trends regarding employment and the labor market. We can also provide information on the qualifications of our job seeker pool in an effort to assist you in obtaining a skilled workforce to give your company a competitive advantage.

The MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center will organize a specialized recruitment event exclusively for you at either the Lawrence or Haverhill sites. We will contact the candidates who have the qualifications, skills and experience needed to fill your vacancies. Our recruitment efforts are focused only on your employment requirements. We also offer space, staff assistance and actively market your company and available openings to a large pool of skilled job seekers.

Our staff manages all of the logistical details. In addition to notifying qualified candidates, staff will make follow-up phone calls to assure a sizable turnout. On the day of your targeted recruitment, our staff will assist you in every way.

The Job Fair provides an opportunity for you to meet a large number of qualified job seekers. Employers are able to recruit and screen job seekers in an effective and efficient manner. You can interview and make offers to candidates at Job Fairs. The Job Fair is an efficient and low-cost recruitment tool.
